Come learn how to play the fastest growing youth sport in America OR learn how to take your game to the next level. At Thunder & Lightning Lacrosse Camp, you will learn what a fun, exciting and athletic sport lacrosse really is. This camp is designed for the beginner or experienced “Lightning” age (1st-4th grade) and "Thunder" age (5th - 6th grade) youth lacrosse player. You will learn the individual fundamentals of lacrosse such as cradling, scooping, passing, catching, dodging, shooting, etc. as well as basic team offensive and defensive concepts. Campers will be instructed on individual skills and then apply those skills in fun, game-like, drills and scrimmages. This camp promises to be a fun and valuable learning experience for the new or developing youth lacrosse player.
Campers will be grouped by age and/or skill level. Generally, the Lightning campers will consist of two groups; 1st and 2nd graders and 3rd and 4th graders. The Thunder group will consist of only 5th and 6th graders. Eligibility is based on entering grades 1st-6th in the Fall of 2010.
We offer three hour, five-day camps, all summer long, but these will fill up fast, so REGISTER NOW!
All camps are located at Pine Lake Park in Sammamish at 2615 228th Ave. SE Sammamish, WA. 98075.
Each camper will receive a reversible camp jersey on the first day of camp to be worn through out the week. Awards will also be given out for the camper of the day, camper of the week and skills contests winners.
Our All-Star staff consists of outstanding local high school lacrosse players, as well as local high school graduates, currently playing collegiate lacrosse.
